Holiday Closures

There are only a couple more days until Christmas! The library has been a busy place during the last few weeks. We’ve been taping holiday Story Times, keeping all of our Christmas displays filled, and creating crafty “Take it and Make it” kits for our younger patrons.

Our Santa Mailbox was stuffed with letters and Santa was able to stop by on Saturday afternoon to retrieve all the letters. If you’ve given a return address you will receive a reply from Santa. Even though he’s very busy, he’s NEVER too busy to reply to a letter!

We’d also like especially to thank Sharon Hafele for the beautiful Christmas-themed children’s facemasks! The kids have loved picking out their favorite designs.

Our bear raffle is open until December 23. We still have a few teddy bears that need homes. If your child would like a teddy bear, stop by the library and give the librarian at the desk your name and phone number. I will be picking names and will call all the winners.

The library is closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but will be open on Saturday, December 26 from 9:00am-noon.

We wish you all a VERY Merry Christmas!

Virtual Stories with Santa

Santa is coming to the Deposit Free Library!  Due to Covid restrictions, we cannot hold our annual Stories with Santa with children in the library.  But never fear….the jolly old elf will still be making an appearance on Friday, December 11th, at 6:30 p.m.  His visit will be posted on Facebook at that time for all families to enjoy.  We hope you join us!
